Admission Details for D.El.Ed Section Admission Forms and Prospectus are available from the office of the Principal, RAMBHA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION on all working days from the date to be notified by the JHARKHAND BOARD of Primary Education for the session 2016-17. Eligibility : Candidates with at least 50% marks at the Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination passed with School Subjects are eligible for admission as regular candidates as per NCTE norms. Intake: Admission for 50 (Fifty) fresher candidates is available. Admission to the Course is open to the candidates (Men & Women) domiciled in West Bengal with age not below 18 years but not above 35 years. Reservation shall be made for S.C., S.T. & OBC candidates as per State Government orders. Admission Procedure : Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained at the Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination as regular candidate with School subjects as per guideline of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. Co-Curricular Activities : To develop the integrity & interest of the students, the College has introduced various kinds of programmes like drama, recitation, debate, quiz, music, painting, extempore speech. Participation in Adult Education/ Literacy programme, Blood Donation, Publishing articles in College & Wall Magazine, Social Awareness Programmes are compulsory. Attendance : Admitted students must attend at least 80% of the lectures delivered. Irregularity in attendance may cause cancellation of his/her admission. If they fail to attend 80% of the lectures delivered, they will be treated non-collegiate and will not be qualified for appearing at the first year Final D.El.Ed. course Examination. These rules will be strictly adhered to. Working days & College Hours(on all working days except Holidays & Sundays) : There shall be at least 200 working days exclusive of period of examination and admission etc. out of which at least 40 days shall be for pracitice teaching in Primary schools. Classes will be generally held from 10.45 A.M. to 4.45 P.M.for practice teaching. Subjects to be taught : As per syllabus of D.El.Ed. course for 2 years prepared by jharkhand Board of Primary Education Academic Session : The Academic session of the College begins in July every year and ends in June of the next year. Practice Teaching : The Procedure of practice teaching ranging from simulation to class roomteaching occurs as per the following steps :- Preparation for practice teaching Pedagogic- Content analysis. Lesson Planning. Developing teaching skill in simulated settings. Observation of demonstration lesson. Pedagogic- Content analysis. Practice Teaching in Schools Classroom Teaching. Observation of peer Teaching. Peer feedback. Supervision and evaluation of Students Teaching. Self-analysis/ reflection on teaching by students. Interaction with the Schools/Community.
